The Wichita State University Shockers (WSU) bowling program hosts an annual four-day co-ed camp. WSU and the GMF have collaborated to offer three youth athletes a scholarship to attend the camp. This scholarship will provide athletes who may need more resources with an opportunity to continue developing their games with the help of 22X National Champion coaching staff: Coach Holly Harris, Coach Mark Lewis, Coach Rick Steelsmith, and more. The GMF Scholars selected will also have a chance to experience what it's like to be a collegiate student-athlete.

 

 

Shocker Bowling Camp Details:

Location: Wichita, Kansas

Date: June 23 – 26, 2023 (The athlete will arrive on Friday, June 23, 2023 and depart Monday, June 26, 2023.)

Tuition Information:

The athlete's camp fees, lodging, meals, and transportation will be covered by the GMF and the WSU bowling program.

Requirements  (Previous attendees of this program are ineligible.)

1. Any child 12 -18 years old

2. Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 based on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)

3. Letter of recommendation

4. Must reside in the U.S

Note: You don't have to be interested in attending WSU in order to apply for this scholarship. We're just providing a youth athlete with an opportunity to continue to develop their game. This is not a collegiate scholarship to WSU.
